Pre-employment Screening

Screening hours
  • Weekday screening reception hours 08:00 ~ 16:00

  • Saturday screening registration hours 08:00 ~ 11:00
Eligibility
  • Physical examination certificate required when joining a public institution or company
Screening item
  • Height, weight, vision, hearing, color vision, blood pressure, chest X-ray, blood test, urine test, ECG, etc.
What to Bring
  • For civil service pre-employment screening, two (3*4) ID photos
Collecting results
  • Morning screening - same day, 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
  • Afternoon screening - next day, 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
Precautions for screening
  • Note: Please fast on the day of the examination. (8 hours or more)

What to check before your examination
  • Please check whether the organization you are submitting to has its own rules on pre-employment screening, and be sure to tell us before the examination whether it is civil service or general pre-employment screening.

  • Note: If the test results show any abnormality, issuance may be restricted and detailed examination may be required.

Day before your health screening
  • Have a light dinner before 9 p.m.
    - You must fast for at least 8 hours.

  • After dinner, do not take any medication you are currently on, or eat or drink anything at all.
    - Otherwise, blood test results may not be accurate.

  • Be sure to avoid alcohol.
    - Liver function values may come back elevated. Screening is recommended 3 days after drinking alcohol.

  • Avoid overexertion and get enough sleep.
    - This is to ensure accurate test results.

Day of your health screening
  • Refrain entirely from breakfast as well as water, drinks, gum, candy and cigarettes.

Female examinees
  • Women can be examined from 3 days after their period ends. (urine test)

  • All women of childbearing age should be sure to confirm whether they are pregnant before booking a screening.

- Screening results can be checked by visiting the hospital after 3 p.m. on the day following (the next day) your screening.
- The civil service pre-employment screening fee is 40,000 KRW.
- Two 3x4 cm ID photos are required.

Result notification (screening institution)

Screening results are sent within 14 days to the examinee's address or by email or KakaoTalk.

For those who need a medical aptitude test (aptitude test for older drivers), a health certificate for license issuance, a firearms examination, a health screening for healthcare workers, or screening documents to submit to an immigration office or other institution, we also carry out on-site screening and health screening for international students (including working holiday participants).
