Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 Purpose
The purpose of these terms is to set out the rules for the use and provision of the internet service operated by St. Peter's Hospital (hereinafter the 'Service').

Article 2 Definitions
Clause 1 The Service means the virtual place of business through which St. Peter's Hospital provides internet services to users by means of computers and other information and communication facilities.
Clause 2 'User' means a member or non-member who accesses the service and receives the services provided by St. Peter's Hospital under these terms.
Clause 3 A Member means a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information such as a password to St. Peter's Hospital, who continuously receives information from St. Peter's Hospital and may continue to use the services it provides.
Clause 4 'Non-member' means a person who uses 'St. Peter's Hospital' without registering as a member.
Clause 5 'Password' means the combination of letters and numbers set by the member to protect their privacy.
Article 3 Effect and Amendment of the Terms
Clause 1 These terms take effect upon being posted on the service screen of 'St. Peter's Hospital'.
Clause 2 Any change to these terms will be announced on the online bulletin board of 'St. Peter's Hospital'.
Clause 3 'St. Peter's Hospital' may amend these terms when deemed necessary, and the amended terms take effect in the same manner as in Clause 1.
Clause 4 Matters not specified in these terms are governed by the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act and other relevant laws.


Chapter 2 Service Use Agreement

Article 1 Formation of the Use Agreement
If you click the button agreeing to the 'St. Peter's Hospital' Terms of Use when registering as a member, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

Article 2 Member Registration
Membership registration is applied for online by entering the following details in the application form.

- ID
- Name
- Date of birth, gender
- E-Mail address
- Password
- Address
- Phone number (mobile)

Article 3 Withholding and Cancellation of Membership Approval
Clause 1 The hospital may refuse or withhold approval of membership registration in any of the following cases.
- If facility capacity is insufficient
- If there are technical difficulties
- Other cases the hospital deems necessary
Clause 2 The hospital may refuse or cancel approval of membership registration in any of the following cases.
- If the name registered at sign-up is not the real name
- If membership was registered using another person's name
- If required information was falsely entered at sign-up
- When a member registers with the purpose of harming public order or morals
- When other membership registration requirements set by the hospital are not met

Chapter 3 Use of Services

Article 1 Service Hours
Clause 1 In principle the service is available 24 hours a day, year-round, unless there is a particular operational or technical problem at the hospital.
This does not apply to days or times set by the hospital for regular maintenance or similar needs.
Clause 2 The hospital may divide the service into sections and set separate available hours for each; in such cases it will give advance notice.

Article 2 Provision and Modification of Services
Clause 1 'St. Peter's Hospital' provides the following services.
Provision of information and conclusion of purchase contracts
Other services provided by ‘St. Peter's Hospital’
Clause 2 In cases such as changes to technical specifications, 'St. Peter's Hospital' may change the content of the services to be provided under contracts concluded thereafter.
Article 3 Suspension of Service Provision
The hospital may restrict or suspend all or part of the service in the following cases.

When unavoidable due to maintenance, replacement or failure of service equipment
When a key telecommunications provider under the Telecommunications Business Act suspends its service
In the event of a national emergency, power outage or similar
When normal use of the service is disrupted by a surge in traffic or similar causes

Article 4 Termination of the Service Agreement and Restriction of Use
Clause 1 A member who wishes to terminate the service agreement must apply to the hospital for termination in person.
Clause 2 If a user commits any of the following acts, the Hospital may terminate the use agreement without prior notice or suspend use of the Service for a specified period.
- If another member's information or password is stolen
- If service operation is intentionally obstructed
- If the registered member name is not the real name
- If the same user registers twice under different identities
- Intentionally spreading content harmful to public order and morals
- When a user plans or carries out use of the service with the purpose of harming the national or public interest
- Acting to damage another person's reputation or cause them disadvantage
- If other terms of use set by the hospital are violated
- Engaging in improper commercial conduct, such as unilaterally halting or refusing a transaction
- When a user whose service use was restricted for improper commercial conduct applies to register again

Article 5 Member Postings
'St. Peter's Hospital' may delete a post registered by a member, without notice to the author, if it determines that the content falls under any of the following.

- Harming the reputation of other members, customers, shareholders or third parties, such as by defamation
- If the content violates public order and morals
- If it is deemed connected to criminal activity
- If it infringes third-party copyrights or other rights
- Other violations of relevant laws or of regulations set by the hospital
- If the posting period set by the hospital is exceeded

Article 6 Copyright of Postings
Rights to material posted on the service are as follows.

The rights to and responsibility for a post rest with the person who posted it, and the Hospital may not use it for commercial purposes without that person's consent. This does not apply to non-commercial use, and the Hospital retains the right to publish the post within the Service.
Members may not use materials posted on the Service commercially, including by processing or selling information obtained through the Service.

Article 7 Provision of Information
The Hospital may provide members with various information deemed necessary while they use the Service, by e-mail, postal mail or similar means. Information provided by St. Peter's Hospital includes e-mails such as content, notices, events, research and advertisements.


Chapter 4 Personal Information and Security


Article 1 Acquisition and Use of Personal Information
Clause 1 Personal information is entered by the individual as required for purchase contracts and use of auction services, and the Company may reuse the information entered at first registration for customer convenience.
Clause 2 Personal information may not be used for purposes other than those for which it was collected, nor may member information be provided to third parties without the member's consent. If member information is lost, stolen, leaked or altered and the member suffers damage as a result, St. Peter's Hospital bears full responsibility, except in the following cases.
- When a state agency makes a request under the Framework Act on Telecommunications or other laws
- When there is a criminal investigation purpose, or a request from the Information and Communications Ethics Committee
- When a request is made under procedures set out in other relevant laws
- When statistics are compiled for purposes such as publicity and academic research
- When order and delivery information is passed to relevant companies to process an order
Clause 3 Users may request to enter, view or correct their information, and we will process such entry, viewing or correction.


Chapter 5 Obligations and Liability

Article 1 Obligations of the Hospital
Clause 1 'St. Peter's Hospital' has a duty to provide users with continuous and stable service
Clause 2 St. Peter's Hospital shall keep its service facilities in operable condition at all times and, if a failure occurs, shall repair and restore them without delay so that users are not inconvenienced in using the Service.
Clause 3 Where a complaint raised by a user is deemed justified, St. Peter's Hospital shall handle it without delay and, if immediate handling is difficult, shall notify the user of the reason and the processing schedule.
Clause 4. However, the hospital is not liable in the following cases.
- When the service cannot be provided due to a natural disaster or comparable force majeure
- Service disruption caused by the user
- Gains or losses a user expects from using the service, or materials obtained through the service
- The reliability and accuracy of information, materials and facts posted on the service by a user

Article 2 Obligations of the User
Clause 1 Members are responsible for managing their own passwords. Members bear responsibility for all consequences arising from negligent management or improper use of the password issued to them.
Clause 2 Users must comply with these terms and relevant laws, and must not act in ways that interfere with our operations.
Clause 3 Users must update their personal information immediately when their details change, and are responsible for doing so.
Clause 4 If a member's information is used improperly, the member must notify the hospital of the fact.
Clause 5 Users must comply with the matters set out in these terms and with the service guidelines and precautions.
Clause 6 Users must comply with the usage restrictions the hospital posts in service notices or announces separately for each type of content.
Clause 7 Users may not conduct business activities using the Service without the Hospital's prior consent, and the Hospital bears no responsibility for the results of such business activities or for any consequences arising from business activities that violate these terms.
Clause 8 When using the service, users must not engage in any of the following acts.
- Users must not let third parties use their password.
- Fraudulently using another member's account
- Reproducing information obtained from the Service for purposes other than the member's own use without the Hospital's prior consent, using it in publications or broadcasts, or providing it to third parties
- Acts infringing third-party copyrights or other rights
- Distributing to others information, text or images that violate public order and morals
- Acts objectively judged to be connected to crime
- Other acts that violate relevant laws
Clause 9 Users must not post defamatory or advertising content about St. Peter's Hospital. Defamatory or advertising posts, and posts that do not match the purpose of the board concerned, may be deleted at the Hospital's discretion.


Chapter 6 Miscellaneous

Article 1 Linked Sites
'St. Peter's Hospital' bears no responsibility for services provided by sites linked from banner advertisements on 'St. Peter's Hospital'.

Article 2 Jurisdiction and Governing Law
Clause 1 Lawsuits over disputes between 'St. Peter's Hospital' and a user shall be filed with the court of jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
Clause 2 Korean law applies to lawsuits brought between 'St. Peter's Hospital' and a user.
These Terms of Use are effective from December 13, 2004.
