Hello, this is St. Peter's Hospital.
On Thursday, May 13, with Seoul Metropolitan Council member Kim So-young and
on the initiative and with the support of the Seoul Sports Council for the Disabled,
organized by the Seoul Spinal Cord Injury Association
The ‘Seoul Exercise Class for People with Severe Disabilities’ was held at St. Peter's Hospital.
The Seoul Exercise Class for People with Severe Disabilities until October 21 this year,
every Thursday at the Spinal Cord Rehabilitation Center on the 6th floor of St. Peter's Hospital,
runs for about two hours from 1 p.m.
Keeping to the exercise class programme previously run by the Spinal Cord Plus Center at St. Peter's Hospital,
‘Warm-up – stretching instruction and practice – strength training instruction and practice – cool-down exercises’
in this order, and a former member of the national wheelchair tennis team,
Dr. Lee Yong-ro, joins as the specialist instructor, so expectations are running even higher.
For people with brain lesions or spinal cord injuries who must use a wheelchair for life,
the shoulders do the work of legs, so stretching and strength training are essential.
Safely and accurately at the Spinal Cord Plus Center of St. Peter's Hospital,
start managing your everyday health!
