강남베드로병원(대표원장 윤강준)은 환자 서비스 편의성 향상을 위해 진료비 하이패스 시스템을 도입했다고 19일 밝혔다.
The Medical Fee Hi-Pass system automatically settles and pays medical fees using a payment card registered in advance.
Once care and examinations are complete, payment is processed automatically without a visit to the payment desk, so patients can go straight home without waiting. Once a card is registered, it can be used continuously on later visits as well, making it even more convenient.
St. Peter's Hospital decided to introduce the system in view of the many patients who receive outpatient care on an ongoing basis.
By simplifying payment, it aims to spare patients and carers repeated waiting and unnecessary walking, and to provide a smoother, more comfortable care experience.
Easing congestion within the hospital is also expected to help build a more stable care environment going forward.
To use the service, register a credit card in your own name at the payment desk; it can then be used from the same day. If a family member other than yourself needs to make payments, additional family registration is also possible.
Personal information and card details are handled securely through a separate financial information storage service provider, and use for any purpose other than paying medical fees incurred at the hospital is strictly restricted.
Administrative Director Yoon, Min Ha said, “We will continue to improve the in-hospital care environment with patients closely in mind, further strengthening our role and standing as a general hospital in the community.”
