EACoN is an international neurointervention conference at which specialists from Korea, China and Japan gather to share clinical research findings and treatment strategies, and KSIN is the leading annual academic event in the field of neurointervention in Korea.
Professor Suh received the Best Publication Award for his paper ‘Clinical analysis and initial concept for deriving WEB size according to cerebral aneurysm morphology’, contributed to KSIN, and a Best Publication Award at the ACoN conference for his presentation ‘WEB embolization strategy for boot-shaped cerebral aneurysms’.
He was particularly highly rated for research showing that WEB selection according to the structural type of a cerebral aneurysm affects the outcome of WEB embolization.
Professor SUH, Dae Chul said, “It is all the more meaningful that the results of research analyzing the relationship between aneurysm morphology and WEB volume, aimed at advancing WEB embolization, have been formally recognized,” adding, “I will continue to press ahead with research and clinical work to improve the safety and precision of treatment for cerebral aneurysms and other highly demanding conditions.”
